De Soto Farmers’ Market closed Saturday, Sept. 1st

August 31, 2012 by pamdowns Leave a Comment

A little rain never hurts, but hurricane downpours and gusty winds are not ideal for the market.  Therefore, De Soto Farmers’ Market will be closed Saturday, Sept 1st.  We will reopen on Saturday, Sept 8th, and hope you will come visit us on that day.
Just a couple of reminders about the market:
The Market on Sept 22nd will be our “Celebrate your Heritage Day”  with several local “craftsman” sharing their talents, along with the Civil War reanactors.  It was a great day last year and we expect it to be again.
The Market for Sept Sept 29th is “Art Mart Day” with unlimited crafters.
The Market will be open until October 20th.  We hope you’ll stop by before then!

New Farmers’ Market Logo!

March 15, 2012 by ghdadmin Leave a Comment

You might notice some changes at the market this year. Here’s one that we’d like to introduce a little early: our logo has changed! It’s not that we don’t like the near infamous green tractor, but we decided that we needed something that better identified the market. Not that we don’t have tractors at the market on occasion, but it didn’t really identify the market as a whole. Be on the lookout for the new logo, and here’s you’re sneak peak.
