We continue into 2014 with a Winter/Spring Eco-Film series beginning this coming Thursday, February 20th at 6:30 pm at the De Soto Community Center at 400 Boyd Street.
The film is called “A Fierce Green Fire: The Battle for a Living Planet”.
This movie is the first big-picture exploration of the environmental movement-grassroots and global activism spanning fifty years from conservation to climate change. Come and get the “big picture” of the last 50 years of Earth-committed folks fighting and succeeding against enormous odds.
Know that the Franciscan Sisters will be serving up steaming hot organic apple cider as well as freshly popped & locally grown organic popcorn—all complimentary!
