2026 Race Series

We are so excited to announce that we will be having a race series for 2026. Each event can be done individually or as part of the series. For those who participate in all THREE races there will be additional prizes/perks.

Winterflakes 5k

February 28, 2026 at 8 AM

The Winter Flakes Race is a local race with a lot of options. First, a disclaimer: we provide volunteers with hand warmers because the race is almost always cold. We’re a little crazy about the cold, but we like it that way. We’ll be starting and ending at Walther Park. The route will be a scenic run to the Arlington and back followed by an after party at the park.

You can register for the 5k or 1 mile run/walk options. Don’t feel you have to run the distance, walkers and strollers are always welcome!

Parking: Limited Parking at the Park. Please park in the gravel lot behind the De Soto Farmers Market and carpool when possible. We are looking into shuttle options and will keep you updated.
