Get Healthy DeSoto does valuable work in the community. Since the pandemic struck, we’ve tried to remain focused on health (with an occasional sleeve tattoo thrown in) but not just physical health. There has been more time spent deliberately highlighting mental health because those were the first services to recede and can be more difficult to deliver in a virtual environment. Yes, the organization obviously does other things.
- The farmers’ market focuses on making local produce and goods more accessible.
- Couch to 5K trains novice runners and improves their physical fitness.
- We put together a newsletter with great recipes, articles, and community highlights every week.
And now, we’re asking you to support the programs that we deliver. Your donation can support kids participating in the Cycle Parade, keep our newsletters coming each week, support the farmers’ market, and support programs that keep people happy and healthy. The most popular amount to give is just $25, and if you gave during Give STL Day or to a specific program, you get a pass on this one.
Your donations are valued. The need is great. Your giving to Get Healthy DeSoto is tax deductible.
The electronic form above is the easiest way to give, but if you’d prefer to drop a check by the farmers’ market on a Saturday or mail one, please include this form with any donation.
