Kids at the farmers’ market have a blast. Whether they are talking to the vendors, sampling the honey, or taking part in the Power of Produce Club activities, we try to keep them involved. The past couple of seasons has put a damper on these activities, and Kids Mart was fully suspended. That isn’t the case now!
Kids Mart is where kids can be vendors at the market. Their space is smaller than a regular vendor, but they can sell their produce, plants, baked goods, or crafts in a safe environment that loves little entrepreneurs. During the 2026 season, we plan on offering Kids Mart monthly. There is a required training for kids who wish to sell at the market, so please share this information and register your kiddos that want to participate.

This class for all kids 16 and under who wish to be a part of our Kids’ Mart every 3rd Saturday at the DFM. We are asking any kids who wishes to sell at the DFM 2026 Kids’ Mart to sign-up for one of these sessions. This class will go over the application, rules and regulations, marketing, and networking. Kids will also be able to create a poster for their booth.
