Winter Flakes Came Out Again!

Get Healthy De Soto held its annual Winter Flakes 10k, 5k, and one mile run/walk this past weekend. The event was a huge success. While we did not have the occasional snowflake present, as we did last year, we did have plenty of “flakes” braving the cold to participate in our fun winter activity! We had over 180 participants in the run and walk combined. It was a great turnout and perfect weather for working up a winter sweat. Our overall male winners this year were Jon Yoch, in the 10k, with a time of 36:58, and Joseph Jordan, in the 5k, with a time of 18:56. Our overall female winners were Izzie Isaacson, in the 10k, with a time of 47:16, and Emma Wright, in the 5k, with a time of 22:19.
