Karen Moore of “It’s All in the Grains” will host a bread making workshop August 27th. This will be held at St. Andrew’s UCC at 1004 Rock Rd, De Soto from 6:00-8:30pm. The cost is $7.00. Canning and Preserving Workshops are a Success!
In case you missed it, the farmers’ market offers preserving and canning classes each summer. The one tomorrow is fairly full, but you might call the Extension office to double check. It will be from 6:30-8:30 PM and costs $7. The topic is Preparing Pickles and Relishes. You must have a reservation, but those were very limited when I spoke to the office yesterday.
