Upcoming 5K in Herculaneum

The 3rd Annual 5K CupCake Run will be held in Herculaneum on March 28, 2015.

Known as the Sweetest Race in Town, this race has a bit of a unique twist. There is a designated Cupcake Station (aka: pit stop) at ever half mile where runners have the option to gobble up a standard cupcake (5 minute deduction) or a mini cupcake (2 minute deduction). The deductions will be taken after crossing the finish line and all finishers receive a medal. (Of course, cupcake consumption is OPTIONAL, but the race is sprinkled with all kinds of good confections!)

The race benefits Kade’s Playground and begins at Herculaneum Park.
ENTRY FEES:

• $15 for kids aged 3-12
• $25 for ages 13 and over prior to 3/7/2015 and $30 after that for the 1-Mile Run/Walk
• $35 for ages 13 and over prior to 3/7/2015 and $40 after that for the 5K
