The winter workshops for farmers’ market vendors have begun. They are offered in partnership with University of Missouri Extension and cover topics ranging from good farming practices to marketing and business solutions. The first was held on February 5th on the subject of Business Planning and Marketing. The second is scheduled for February 16th, and will cover Integrated Pest Management. All worshops are free and are held at St. Andrew’s Methodists Church, on Rock Road. Notices of vendor workshops always appear here on our blog, but for a complete list of worshops for this season, please see our flyer, DFMWinterWorkshops2013. Workshops are open to the public. They are not limited to vendors. Some workshops require registration as space and supplies are sometimes limited. Please call or email Joyce Rainwater at 314.800.4076 or [email protected] for more information.
