April 9-Vendor Meeting for all vendors to kick off the 2013 season. If you will be using a scale at the Market you must have it certificd by the Dept of Agriculture. April 9th the Dept of Ag will be with us to certify scales. New vendors are welcomed with any questions. All current vendors are asked to attend. The 2013 Rules and Regulations will be reviewed and applications will be available for vendors.
Adapt-A-Highway Clean Up
Market vendors and volunteers came out to help with the Adopt-A-Highway clean up. The Market has adopted 1 mile of Hwy 110 near Fountain City Road. If you haven’t seen the sign, please look for it to remind you to shop at the DeSoto Farmer’s Market.

Vendor and Community Meeting Thursday, Nov 8th 6pm
The De Soto Farmers’ Market steering committee will host a vendor and community meeting this Thursday, November 8th at 6pm. The purpose of the meeting is to get both vendor and community input for the 2013 Market. Please come and meet with us and we promise to keep the meeting short. If you have ideas or questions for the Market, now is the time to hear from you. Part of the agenda is to set the Market calendar of events so this is a very important meeting. We welcome new people who are interested in the Market either as a vendor or a shopper and will have information available. Hope to see you Thursday night.
