Due to the lightning, the DeSoto Dash has been moved back to 11 AM. Registration will start at 10 AM. Of course, plans will be modified if the lightning continues.

2017 Winter Flakes Recap
March 18, 2017 turned out to be a great day for the Winter Flakes Race. There were 236 participants, and a good time was had by all.
A special thanks to the organizations that sponsored the event and the countless volunteers who helped direct traffic, distribute water, and donated time to the race coordination.

DeSoto Dash for Dystrophy
2017 brings about the 9th edition of the DeSoto Dash for Dystrophy. Money raised goes to the Muscular Dystrophy Association to help fund research. The MDA also provides camps and services to people with muscular dystrophy.
The 5K Run/Walk will be Saturday, April 29th. The race starts at 8 AM and begins at the high school track. Day-of registration will be from 7 until 7:45 AM. If you would like to pre-register (and pay only $20), your registration form must be postmarked by April 14th.
