The Winter Flakes Race is a local race with a lot of options. First, a disclaimer: we provide volunteers with hand warmers because the race is almost always cold. We’re a little crazy about the cold, but we like it that way. We’ll be starting and ending at the DeSoto Farmers’ Market. That building is already owned by Get Healthy DeSoto, so we might as well use it before the market opens in April.
Now, you can register for the 5k or 1 mile run/walk options. All give you some pretty views of DeSoto. Don’t feel you have to run the distance, walkers and strollers are always welcome!

Parking: West of the farmers’ market on the gravel and paved lot between Edington and Second Street. This is a run through town, and we’ll try to have plenty of signs and volunteers to get you where you need to be. We are hoping to have Main Street closed for this event and will keep you updated.
You can register online through February 21, 2025. After that, you’ll need to use a paper form which will be also be available on the morning of the race.
